he Apparel Search fashion news section has originally been designed to provide fashion industry news in a timely manner so that members of the garment industry could stay up to speed on what is happening in the industry. Over the years, we have fined tuned our news resource to include shopping news as well. We believe that our fashion news should educate both the industry and consumers.

I saw your presentation a few weeks ago and it was amazing. I was so inspired by your sister's story, and how you turned your anger over what happened to her into something that can teach so many young people. I never thought I would be confronted by the same situation that you were in when your sister told you she had been raped. But when my friend told me she had been raped, I felt those same feelings that any friend or family member of a victim feels: the anger and the hate towards the individual who committed the rape. I could not understand what kind of  person would do such a thing. But after my friend told me what had happened to her, I remember what I learned at your presentation. I told her that I was so thankful that she trusted me enough to tell me what had happened, and I told her that I would be there for her no matter what. I reminded her how strong she is and that I am proud of her for taking the right steps to put the event behind her. So I really just want to thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart for what I learned from you. I don't know what I would have done or how I would have reacted and I don't know if my friend would have felt comfortable telling me she had been raped if we had both not experienced your presentation. I now know the courage and the strength that each rape victim possesses, and I know now that my friend will always know that I am there for her no matter what, all thanks to your presentation. So thank you again Mike, because your presentation of "Can I Kiss You" ended up being probably one of the most important learning experiences of my life, and it is one that I will never forget.
