Hey:) I'm a first year music student at UWO and attended this presentation today and like you I was blown away!! I have never thought of how significantly someone's life could change if I stopped "Jordan" from taking advantage of "Erin" and really stepped in and was there for "Erin" as a true friend. It's so great to see an older student respond the way you did! O Week so far has been the best week of my life and everyone at Western is so welcoming, and I already fieel like I am part of a family. Good for you for opening the door to someone, I did that as well today, with my mom, my best friend and a friend I don't know very well who is going through some tough times. It felt great and hopefully younger students like myself will open the door to others and step in and be a friend at a party.

I just wanted to thank you, Mike Domitrz, for this amazing presentation 4 years and counting. I have attended this for the past 4 orientation weeks in a row - and always told myself I would open the door, yet didn't. To think I was part of that 20% for the past 3 years ate at me today, so I decided to make change. I talked to my best friend of 8 years and I opened the door for her today just after your stellar presentation , and since that moment I have felt like the connection we have made has heightened even more. 
For that, I thank you again, for even though I opened only ONE door - so much has come of it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
