If I was the girlfriend I agree with some people, def don't get in a fight. that shows nothing. I reccommend just saying hey man don't talk to a lady like that. to him you'll sound lame, to her she'll be glad you could stilll be respectful and defend her

Tell the guys nicely to stop making comments about your girlfirend, and tell her that the comments arent true and to ignore them.

Ooh my boyfriend has asked me the same thing. DO NOT START A PHYSICAL FIGHT! Don't swear at them, don't rile their emotions. Calmly tell them they can't talk to your girl that way, and then tell your girlfriend not to listen to them because she's beautiful and amazing and so much more than just a pretty face for guys to look at!

I think you could make your girlfriend feel really special by standing up to the guys that make inappropriate comments.  Let them know that you won't tolerate those kinds of attitudes towards women, that all women deserve respect. But don't say "Don't talk to her that way, she's mine!" (or something like that), because then your girlfriend will feel like she's just a piece of property, something that can be possesed.
