Love it. One comment jumped out at me in the 14th minute (approximately) "Isn't that silence a form of consent? and complicity?" I hate to go so micro on this, because I do understand the bigger picture, but words do matter. Given all the meanings of consent, I don't think we -- as leaders in this movement -- can suggest that silence is a form of consent. I think we can point out that our inaction allows injustice to march right on. I think we can say that when we say nothing and do nothing, people may not realize the bad thing they are doing. I think we can say that we have a responsibility to step up and do something, when we can. But in the face of power, sometimes silence is self-protective. Sometimes it's a lack of other options. Choose words carefully & thank you for your great work!

I can't say enough for the great work being done by Mike's project and speakers like Jackson Katz. I have waited 30 years for men, and some women, to step up to this plate.
Now, as the mother of two teenagers, I ask the rest of our North American society: where did all the adults go? They seem to have abdicated their role and their responsibities. They should be speaking out against these social "norms", for the sake of the very children they put into this world. It is our collective responsibility to address this. Let's see leadership from everyone, not only a few courageous speakers.
