4. APPROPRIATE AND HILARIOUS HUMOR . When discussing what is often an uncomfortable subject for many students, integrating effective humor into your speech is a necessity.    Telling a joke or “being funny” is very different than utilizing humor with an educational goal as the focus. Even people who think they are naturally funny will often FAIL with student audiences.
